Fast Forward 15, the not-for-profit mentoring programme for women in the travel, events and hospitality industry, has revealed the host for its bingo-themed charity event.
Taking place at International Confex on 8 March, at ExCeL London, The Bingo Ball will raise money for MindOut, a mental health charity that offers support for the LGBTQ+ community in the UK.
The Bingo Ball will by hosted by drag artist, compere and DJ, Alfie Ordinary, who’s debut show ‘Help! I Think I Might Be Fabulous’ won the International Touring Bursary at Brighton Fringe in 2016. Ordinary has also performed on stages across the UK, America, Europe and Australia since.
This year’s mentees have sourced over 60 auction and raffle prizes including:
– x2 tickets to Dua Lipa
– A family weekend to the classic at Silverstone
– A one night stay in a suite with breakfast for two at London’s Pan Pacific
Fay Sharpe OBE and founder of FF15, said: “This is what I love about the events industry – coming together to support worthy causes through generosity and community. This year’s mentees have outdone themselves with The Bingo Ball which is going to be a great place to meet industry colleagues, have fun and win some incredible prizes. Please come and show your support.”
