As part of its rebrand, beam, the association formerly known as HBAA, has formed strategic partnerships with Advantage Travel Partnership, Greenage Solutions and Venue Performance to better serve its members.

The association has been vocal in expressing its desire to change to reflect the needs of the wider industry.

The association has partnered with Advantage Travel Partnership, the UK’s largest independent travel agent group, to give its members access to Advantage’s global accommodation programme content and preferential rates.

In turn, Advantage members will be able to utilise beam’s Code of Practice for meetings and events, providing them with business guidance.

beam has also partnered with Greenage Solutions, an agency which provides sustainability advice, guidance and accreditation to the travel and events sector, to reflect the associations commitment to help its members work towards a sustainable and Net Zero future.

The association’s final partnership is with Venue Performance, a benchmarking service that aims to help venues understand their performance against their competitors. This partnership aims to help its members navigate the changing world of events by providing data insight into current market activity.

Commenting on the strategic partnership, Des Mclaughlin (pictured), board director of beam, said: “As an association, we are committed to helping our members and the association itself to access the key services and information that they need to run their businesses successfully today.”
