With a long history of hosting events, Lincoln’s Inn offers an eclectic mix of indoor and outdoor spaces for up to 400 guests. The venue accommodates conferences, meetings, dinners and receptions on its own private 11-acre estate in the heart of London. Lincoln’s Inn is made up of Grade I and II listed buildings with contemporary facilities, office spaces and commercial and residential property, as well as a leading legal library, stunning Chapel and tranquil gardens.

The Ashworth Centre provides a refined space for conferences and hybrid events for up to 158 delegates. The conference centre, opened in 2018, includes integrated AV facilities with tiered theatre-style retractable seating, allowing the stylish double height space to also be used for receptions. Conveniently located next to a suite of meeting rooms, there is suitability for break out spaces for smaller group sessions.

A tranquil enclave through the ages, Lincoln’s Inn delights event planners with its event spaces epitomising British elegance. The Great Hall, opened by Queen Victoria in 1845 and recently re-opened by Her Majesty the Queen following a series of renovation works, is a space that can host up to 250 guests for dinner or 400 for a reception. Its appeal begins with both the exterior and interior detailing, made beautifully by architect Philip Hardwick, working in the Tudor Revival style.

For a more intimate setting, the perfectly preserved Old Hall has an appealing Tudor grandeur, hosting events for up to 200 guests. Alternatively, the MCR and private terrace offers an exclusive event space, created from the vaulted ceiling of the Victorian kitchen below, ideal for smaller luncheons and dinners.

The exact origins of Lincoln’s Inn are not fully known, but according to the Inn’s records, it dates back to 1422. The allure of its history resounds with years of archived reference material for hosting events. Its historical nature also makes it a popular choice for film and television producers to use as a filming location for productions such as Downton Abbey.

The venue presents many dining options, with a talented kitchen team led by head chef, David Bush, on hand to offer delectable bespoke catering. With a passion for innovation and individuality, conference and events guests will enjoy quality locally sourced food and first-class service from our catering team.

Beyond the obvious appeal of the venue itself, the events team at Lincoln’s Inn have experience on their side, with an impressive collective repertoire of knowledge used to bring events to life. The grand array of portraiture and art in every room tells a tale and the team are well versed to share their stories. By default, every catered event is assigned its own operations professional with a supporting team, each briefed according to the clients’ needs.
