TRO is part of a committee made up of UK based Omnicom agencies that organise the annual Omniwomen + Allies UK Leadership Summit, which is traditionally held on International Women’s Day.

About the project

Each year the Summit has featured a range of themes, with a goal to celebrate and enable women from all backgrounds to fulfil their potential. This goal is driven through workshops, discussions and talks from inspirational and diverse speakers, such as the former leader of the UK Women’s Equality Party, Sophie Walker and ex-acting editor-in-chief for Elle, Lotte Jeffs.

Solution

For the last six years, TRO have been responsible for experience management and consultation, onsite and production logistics, as well as delegate and live management.

To build on the success of the Summit, the committee introduced a membership programme with activities planned throughout the year. The first event, the 2021 Summit, was delivered virtually and reached over 700 attendees via a virtual platform and live studio.

Results

Since the initiative’s launch, over half (55%) of the leadership roles across the Omnicom network are held by women. Furthermore, the network has also seen a 93% increase in female representation on the management board in the last five years, with a 7% increase.

These results highlight how organising events like the annual Omniwomen + Allies UK Leadership Summit can create a social legacy for women.
