Ottawa Tourism kept in touch with its UK friends and clients by hosting a dinner at The Langham Hotel, Portland Place, London, on 22 September.
Fourteen guests, including CMW’s editor, gathered in The Conservatory to be greeted remotely with a special message from Ottawa Tourism’s senior vice-president and chief marketing officer, Glenn Duncan, and from the Shaw Centre’s president and CEO, Nina Kressler.
The Canadian capital’s London representative Julie Watterston, who organised the London event, said: “Ottawa has always focused on building great relationships with great people. For us, the friendships and camaraderie come first and the business flows from there.
“It was, therefore, a real pleasure to get out and see people again last night. We were delighted to revitalise old friendships whilst making new ones in a relaxed and informal manner that also included an insightful talk from Adam Baggs, highlighting why we suffer the anxieties and stresses we do.”
