Fred Sirieix, best known for hosting Channel 4’s First Dates and BBC Two’s Remarkable Places to Eat and Million Pound Menu, will take the main stage and participate in an interactive keynote session at this year’s Cvent CONNECT® Europe.

The hybrid event technology conference, hosted by Cvent at the InterContinental London – The O2, will take place from 5-6 October and will offer both in-person and virtual experiences.

With over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, Sirieix understands how service impacts a customer’s experience, a brand’s reputation, as well as its link to business survival and profitability. The session aims to demonstrate how to provide a level of tailored service that helps facilitate more impactful networking between event delegates, maximise connections made both in-person and online, and enhance the overall event experience.

Other key themes and topics for discussion at this year’s conference include: the power of data in the new era of events and how to leverage these insights to deliver more impactful experiences; the future of event marketing; empowered leaders: building diverse and inclusive communities; sustainability; a safer journey for in-person events; hospitality MICE business strategy; and the outlook for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

Patrick Smith (pictured), chief marketing officer at Cvent, commented: “Memorable experiences, compelling content, and dynamic networking opportunities are cornerstones of great events. With Fred’s extensive career in hospitality, serving some of the most discerning guests, he understands how to bring amazing experiences to life. We are excited to feature Fred on the main stage at Cvent CONNECT Europe, and for him to share his unique insights with our virtual and in-person attendees.”
