Global independent marketing and communications agency, FINN Partners, has been appointed to provide public relations services for Singapore Tourism Board (STB) for two years from September 2021 until August 2023.

The contract includes creative campaign ideation; consumer, business travel and MICE media relations; content development; crisis communications, and social media and influencer support.

Finn Partners will be responsible for activating a communications strategy to promote Singapore as a tourism destination. Central to the brief is the focus on working with brand partners to further amplify the Passion Made Possible brand and the SingapoReimagine campaign.

Carrie Kwik, executive director Europe, Singapore Tourism Board, commented: “FINN Partners Ltd’s proposal was clearly aligned with STB’s marketing objectives and demonstrated a thorough understanding of STB’s UK strategy particularly in relation to the media landscape for both MICE and leisure. We look forward to working closely with the FINN team to leverage their experience in technology and sustainability to develop and execute plans with a clear integration between traditional and digital PR.”

Debbie Flynn, Global Travel Practice Leader, FINN Partners commented: “We know there is pent up demand for long-haul travel in Britain coupled with a deep desire to have an adventure. However, this is at odds with the understandable caution felt by many travellers and the need to visit only incredibly safe destinations. Singapore is one of the very few destinations in the world which satisfies these polar emotions. It perfectly provides the essence of an Asian adventure in a secure, safe and hygienic environment. We can’t wait to get started and support Singapore Tourism Board.”
