Central Hall Westminster (CHW) has teamed up with AV production partner, White Light (WL) to launch new packages for hybrid meetings and events.
The comprehensive packages aim to help organisers negotiate post-pandemic events in 2021 and beyond. It combines three key components for a successful event; the technical equipment needed for both the live and hybrid elements alongside an online distribution platform.
They will also include options for small to large-scale live audience capacities up to 2,000; silver, gold or platinum packages based on the event organiser’s preferred range of camera perspectives and level of audience interactivity; and platforms that range from simple embed solutions to a custom-built dedicated microsite.
For hybrid meetings, which bring together participants in the room and at remote locations, packages are designed for Central Hall Westminster’s smaller spaces for any number up to a total of 20 people.
Whilst for hybrid event packages, which are delivered to two sets of audiences simultaneously (those present in the room and those watching online), have been designed for up to 120 people in the venue’s smaller rooms, 400 in the medium-sized spaces and up to 2,000 in the venue’s Great Hall.
Paul Southern, managing director of Central Hall Westminster, commented: “Digital and hybrid events are now a vital part of the events industry and will continue to be so from now on. The impact of the pandemic has seen a shift in the future of the events landscape, so it is vital that we adapt to this and help our clients negotiate their way through a new way of holding events where meaningful interaction and engagement can occur with both in-person and remote audiences simultaneously. Our aim is to make holding a hybrid event at Central Hall Westminster easy and stress-free.”
Jonjo Glynn, venues director, White Light, added: “We are now approaching the six-year anniversary of our residency as Central Hall’s in-house production service partner. During this time, we are proud of the investments we have made to enhance the technical infrastructure by installing state-of-the-art lighting, audio and video systems throughout. This has all helped make a Grade II* listed building one of the most technically modern and environmentally friendly historic venues in the UK.”
