Venue group The Studio has reported an 88% increase in event confirmations in the weeks following the prime minister’s roadmap announcement.
The company, which has venues across the UK, has said the increase in business comes on the back of the announcement and flexible approach to terms and conditions.
Commercial Director Julian Kettleborough said the news of an increase in confirmed business signals “the next step in a long-awaited recovery”.
Kettleborough added: “We have been working […] to increase the flexibility we are able to give our clients including virtual and hybrid options. We want everyone to feel confident that they have our full support when making the bold step back into holding their events.”
The Studio has venues in Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow, all of which are open for essential bookings.
