Venue find and event management agency, Venues and Events International, has revealed that it secured three new clients at the end of 2020, due to its pivoting of live events to online or hybrid events.

In October 2020, Venues and Events International was appointed by Chartered Management Institute (CMI) to deliver an online solution for two events, Management Transformed and CMI Women 50.

Claire Arscott, events manager at CMI, said: “It is so refreshing to work with the team at Venues and Events International. We came to them initially with two event enquiries that required innovative event concepts to keep two different audiences engaged. Not only did they excel in their delivery, but they were also able to turn around from initial brief to event delivery in just over two weeks. Feedback from our delegates came with high praise and I’m already looking forward to working on future events with the team.”

In addition to CMI, Venues and Events International was successful in winning a contract with HCL Technologies, a global technology company that helps companies “reimagine their businesses for the digital age”, to support their online engagement strategy. The third contract win came from a financial servicing company for the delivery of three roadshows that are due to take place later this year.

Anita Lowe (pictured), CEO of Venues and International, said: “We can’t hide from the fact that 2020 had a major impact on all of us, and not just meetings and events, but across many other industry sectors. As with many other agencies, we had to quickly adapt our services and look to turn our planned live events programme into virtual concepts.

“We couldn’t have achieved this without the passion and enthusiasm from every single member of the team. We’ve had some employees take on alternative workloads to support on the delivery of a long-term project as part of Covid-recovery initiative. Our events team have undertaken training to enhance their virtual and event management skills, ensuring their knowledge is fresh and we continue to provide new ideas and to be attentive to our clients ever-changing requirements.”
