As part of its Safer Events programme, Hire Space has produced a survey designed to establish attendee confidence in attending events in 2020.

Following the government’s announcement that certain hospitality businesses may reopen from 4 July 2020, respondents are invited to state how comfortable they would be attending four separate event types, within government guidelines.

The full results of the survey will be shared at Hire Space’s virtual event ‘Business Events in a Post Pandemic World – Part 1’, which will take place on 20 May.

Edward Poland, co-founder, Hire Space, said: “It’s crucial that the industry is fully prepared for a phased return for meetings and events, and we’re working closely with venues and corporates on an accreditation scheme to allow this to happen safely, within government guidelines.

“Fundamental to this is establishing attendee confidence, and understanding the factors which will determine the willingness of attendees to take part in events. We encourage people to share this survey widely and give their views.”
