Team Challenge Company, a corporate team building specialist, have developed a technology that allows for team building activities to be delivered remotely.

The new products, created in conjunction with its network of global partners, have been specifically designed to address challenges of working from home. For example, they aim to support health and wellbeing and boost employee engagement, communication and efficiency.

The solutions will be delivered through video-conferencing platforms and interactive gaming technology. The activities will include ‘The Big Quiz Live’, ‘In the Picture’, ‘Peak Performance, ‘Globe Runner’ and ‘Meditainment’.

Jonathan Hazley, co-director, Team Challenge Company, said: “Team Challenge Company, like all other organisations, has had to adapt. Combining our extensive experience with the latest technology we have found an effective way to take team building online.

“This goes far beyond offering interactive quiz games. We, along with our network of global partners, have developed a number of high-level team building activities which focus on complex issues with the aim of improving communication, problem-solving and collaboration.”

Gerard Crowley, managing director, Team Challenge Company, added: “People might be physically distant, but the need for communication and collaboration has never been greater.”

Crowley continued: “As employees grapple with the strains of working from home, both their physical and mental wellbeing can come under pressure. In turn, they can become disengaged, demotivated and less focused on tasks. A business cannot succeed without its people, and at time of unprecedented disruption supporting your workforce to tackle the challenges in front of them is absolutely crucial.”

She concluded that technology will not only become more prevalent, but it will shape the future of the industry.
