On behalf of the government, VisitBritain is capturing the impact of Covid-19 on tourism and business events in what it says is a “consistent and comprehensive way”, and has created an online questionnaire for events businesses to complete.
VisitBritain hopes that the questions in the survey will help capture the impact on bookings, the wider economic impact, and what insurance is covering as well as what business events are affected in the short and longer-term.
The UK’s national convention bureau says all submissions will be confidential, and disclosures will not be attributable.
