the eastside rooms has launched a new website called ‘Future Birmingham’, which aims to show event organisers how the city’s meetings and events landscape will change over the next ten years.

The website will include an interactive, 3D map which will have a timeline to show new buildings and infrastructure from 2020 to 2030.

the eastside rooms will open in Birmingham next summer and will run business events from September 2020.

The new venue is part of a wider development of Birmingham’s Eastside, which is also branded ‘The Knowledge Quarter’. The area also predicts to see an influx of business hubs and infrastructure.

Leanne Bladen, director of sales and marketing at the eastside rooms, said: “This is a really important tool for us and really underlines how much we’re going to see the meetings and events landscape of Birmingham develop over the next ten years.

“The 3D map allows the organiser to see what the Eastside area of the city will look like every year from now until 2030; what the developments are, what they will look like and where they are in proximity to the eastside rooms.

“Birmingham really is a new city every day, and we want to be able to bring to life what it is now, and what it will look like in the future, for event organisers. With the Future Birmingham website, we have a really smart tool that helps us do just that.”
