London venue Central Hall Westminster’s Great Hall was the setting for Craig David’s TS5 DJ set for BBC One’s ‘Live New Year’s Eve Concert’.

White Light, an AV company, were chosen as Central Hall Westminster’s in-house technical production partner. White Light provided the lighting and rigging for the live show.

Craig David performed with his band before midnight. His performance followed London’s New Year’s Eve Fireworks and his TS5 DJ set.

James Thurlow, technical manager, White Light, said: “With the different sets taking place before and after the fireworks, we worked closely with lighting designer Steve Abbis to achieve a slightly different look and feel, to mark the significance of entering a new year and decade.

“Our sophisticated lighting rig for the show was specifically designed to complement the architectural features of the Great Hall.”

Paul Southern, managing director, Central Hall Westminster, added: “We were delighted to welcome Craig David and his band to our wonderful venue for this momentous occasion and they certainly gave us a night to remember.

Southern said that the AV company’s “lighting elements really helped to bring the show to life, not just for the guests in the building but also for the thousands of viewers watching at home.”
