Top Banana, a creative communications agency, has announced the recruitment of Andrew Winterburn as its non-executive director.
Winterburn (pictured), joins the company with over 30 years’ experience in the event industry. He has also collaborated with the agency, in particular Richard Bridge, to create its current five-year growth plan.
His new role will require him to guide and support the leadership team and its business strategy. Winterburn will help mentor the team by providing an external and objective perspective.
In 2019, Top Banana has hired over 60 new employees across its three offices in the Midlands, London and Manchester.
Winterburn states that Top Banana is a “vibrant and dynamic business”, that has values he can “personally associate with.”
He added: “Top Banana are going through a really exciting time and I can’t wait to be part of their continued growth and success.”
Bridge commented: “As a business we’ve really taken a step forward in 2019. We’re in a really great position, not just financially, but in terms of our client relationships and growing expert team.
“Having worked with myself and the leadership team for a number of months already, we have really seen the value he brings to the business. We now have someone to challenge us and help drive us forward in all areas of the business.”
