XSEM, a Leeds-based creative experience agency, has announced its new client wins and expansion into the drinks industry.

Over the past six months XSEM has secured eight new clients within the drinks industry. These clients include Slingsby, Merchant’s Heart, Carthy and Black and Beluga Vodka.

XSEM’s growth has resulted in the agency exceeding its 2019 turnover target by £500,000, over three months prior to the end of its financial year.

Additionally, Sarah Davenport, senior business manager and Megan Walters, business development manager, have both driven XSEM’s growth into the building, IT and telecoms sectors with their recent client wins. These wins include PDM, Allvotec and Exertis.

Recent work by XSEM has included an experiential event for Merchant’s heart, a spirit enhancer brand. This included guests being submerged in the science and production of drinks to illustrate the benefits of the product.

XSEM has also recruited a total of nine new hires in 2019, which creates a team of 30 now employed at the agency.

Key hires include a new project manager, a marketing rewards manager and a rewards and hospitality coordinator. The agency is also currently recruiting a golf project manager.

Dan Bardgett, managing director at XSEM, said: “We’re extremely proud of the progress XSEM has made, our expansion into the drinks industry is an exciting venture.

“We’ve worked with long standing clients including Molson Coors, but the appointment of our business development manager, Brooke Dawson, has allowed us to hone in on her drinks expertise and widen the services we offer this market.

“We have bold plans for growth and have set a target of £7.4m turnover for 2020. As XSEM expands, we are focused on delivering premium quality services to all our clients, current and new.”
