The Tower Hotel, located along the River Thames in London, has been certified as a healthcare specialist venue after its assessment by Healthcare Venues Ltd, a directory of venues for the healthcare sector within meetings and events.
The Tower Hotel consists of 801 bedrooms, 19 meeting rooms and ‘The Tower Suite’ which can host up to 550 people. Its flexibility of spaces enables a range of events to take place simultaneously.
During the assessment, The Tower Hotel passed the following key criteria: online and offline sales and marketing positioning, a physical venue assessment, operational processes and appointment and training of an individual Venue Healthcare Champion for sales and operational teams.
As a result, Till Koepcke, meeting and events sales executive, has been appointed a ‘healthcare champion’, ensuring that operational standards are delivered alongside the hotel’s hospitality.
Kathleen Edwards, head of GLH Venues, said “We are delighted to have been certified as a preferred venue for healthcare events. The Tower is a4 star business hotel with bedrooms and facilities to host large residential meetings from the healthcare sector and this certification allows us to expand our offering.
