Thirty young event professionals were honoured at 2018’s CN30 under Thirty, which took place at Camm & Hooper’s Grace Hall, London, 29 October, in partnership with Cvent and the Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO).
Those acknowledged represented industry sectors including agencies, corporates, entrepreneurs, technology pioneers, and professional conference organisers.
Cvent’s director of European sales, Jamie Vaughan, told the winning candidates: “You are the future of this industry, and we at Cvent are delighted that we can provide a platform that acknowledges your achievements.”
Mark Riches, MD, FIRST, offered some inspiring words on stage, noting the strong female representation (23 of 30 winners), before handing out the awards.
Liz Agostini, publishing director, Conference News, was thrilled with the scope of talent. She said: “The depth of talent that we saw in the submissions made this years’ CN30 list very difficult to judge. Those who have made it through to the CN30 have genuine cause for satisfaction.
“The organisations represented here this evening are testament to the high calibre of our readership, and we look forward to working with them and their talent editorially in the year ahead.”
