This year, to educate and celebrate diversity in the workplace, global events management company Events Together is producing This Is Us, a one-day conference in Milton Keynes on 4 October 2018. The organisers say the event is designed to tackle a number of key issues surrounding corporate diversity.
The conference will offer practical tips and advice on the issue of corporate diversity and inclusion and includes speakers such as leading trans role model Jacqui Gavin (pictured above) who, along with other speakers, will present a series of talks and learning labs.
The conference is being held at Kents Hill Park Training and Conference Centre in Milton Keynes.
Meena Chander from Events Together said: “This Is Us is a national conference and we’re pulling delegates and speakers from across the UK, so being so close to the motorway and transport links made Kents Hill a perfect choice.”
Sarah Glossop (pictured below) from Kents Hill Park added: “This is such a great cause that we’re delighted to support – we’re passionate about Milton Keynes and delivering first class conferences. It’s about time that a subject as important as this gets some real focus.”
Jonathan Foot is co-chair of the LGBT & Allies Committee for venue owners, Compass Group UK & Ireland, noted: “This Is Us is integral to raising awareness around diversity and will help people come together to discuss potential solutions to the issues we face in the corporate world. We’re pleased to be able to host such a worthwhile event.”
