Sleek Events has posted turnover figures of £6.7m for year ending 31 July 2018. The announcement was made at Sleek Events’ third birthday party at 1a Duke Street, Richmond-upon-Thames.

MD and founder Jennifer Davidson said: “We’re really pleased to announce that we smashed an already-revised turnover goal of £5m for this year end by reaching £6.7m.

“All this wouldn’t be possible without my amazing team and that includes our permalancers – everyone has played a vital part in helping me grow Sleek Events to where it is today. The saying ‘When you buy from a small business an actual person does a happy dance’ is true. We are extremely passionate about the industry and love making a difference.

“Most importantly, we have the best time at work and, at times, have to remind ourselves we are at work! And, of course, not forgetting the suppliers who make our lives easier along the way, helping us achieve our clients’ dreams.”

After reporting the bumper year, Sleek Events’ team are raising money for The Prince’s Trust. The Palace to Palace 2018 cycle ride is this year’s charity challenge for Sleek Events’ MD Jennifer Davidson, project manager Claire Riddell and producer, Rebecca Dare.

The 90-mile charity bike ride starting at Buckingham Palace will take the ladies close to their office near Richmond Park before finishing in Windsor.

Davidson, a regular participant in sportives, added: “I have completed Ride 100 twice now and really enjoyed it. Rebecca has completed marathons and cycles while Claire is completely new to this type of charity event. This year the Ride 100 date didn’t work with our busy schedule, so we chose this challenge organised by The Prince’s Trust instead.”

In the run up to the event in October, Sleek Events will see a ban on junk foods (except for cake on Fridays, obviously), running and cycling through Richmond Park at lunch times, and evening spin classes. All of which hopes to culminate in raising at least £750 for The Prince’s Trust.

“Signing up for sportives is a great motivator and complements the Wellness Fridays we recently launched to promote health and wellbeing within our team,” Davidson concluded.
