London venue Central Hall Westminster has agreed a new three-year contract with production service partner White Light.
The renewal of White Light’s contract means that the AV company will continue to oversee the technical requirements of events taking place within the historic venue.
White Light was first appointed as the venue’s production service partner in 2015 and oversaw a new AV installation including lighting, audio, video and rigging technology.
The remit for the new installation included achieving faster turnaround times and discrete equipment to blend in with the building’s unique early 20th Century architecture.
Central Hall Westminster MD Paul Southern comments: “We are delighted to be renewing White Light’s contract for a further three years after a very successful partnership. White Light are an integral part of our team and the company has helped us to service over 1,000 diverse events from the now famous New Year’s Eve concerts to live television broadcasts and numerous large conferences… We are looking forward to another three years of success and further development of our AV equipment including the installation of permanent HD LCD screens in our meeting rooms.”
White Light’s head of venues, Jonjo Glynn, adds: “As we’ve increased the flexibility of the spaces, we’re seeing a diverse range of events take place within the venue, whether it’s conferences, broadcasts or live music concerts. With PiXL in particular, we deliver approximately 25 events a year; with the client knowing that Central Hall Westminster can provide both the beautiful surroundings and technical excellence they require.
