The Apex Hotel in Bath is celebrating a successful first anniversary for its conferences and events.

The £50m property, which opened in August 2017, is Bath’s only purpose-built city centre conference facility.

Since beginning to accept conference and events bookings in September 2017, it has welcomed more than 20,000 delegates.

Part of Apex’ strategy to attract new business has been its #WarmerWelcome campaign, which has since been implemented across all Apex properties in the UK.

The campaign provides residential conference guests to the hotel with in-room tips on how to get the best out of their stay at Apex. It also provides a podcast series produced by Apex, with  information on health and wellbeing.

Phil Bailey (pictured), group meetings incentives conference and events sales manager at Apex City of Bath hotel, said: “We have been thrilled with the uptake of businesses using our state of the art conferencing facilities here at the hotel.

“By attracting businesses within the UK and beyond, we are helping to bring tourists to the city and giving the local economy a boost, which is great news for Bath.

“Our team here provides a personal service and signature warmer welcome to every guest and delegate, ensuring their time with Apex is productive and memorable. We are looking forward to another successful year welcoming guests and businesses.”
