City of London venue consortium London City Selection (LCS) has announced the return of its annual corporate familiarisation day, Big City Site Visit.

The third consecutive annual event will take place on 5 July and will involve 40 corporate event bookers from across London experiencing 20 of the collection’s 30 venues.

London City Selection Chair, Rowan Kitching (pictured) says: “We have seen demand to take part in the Big City Site Visit grow year after year, with more than double attending this year compared to last; much of the interest to experience the venue’s hospitality stems for the success of our annual FAM weekends, which this year had the popular theme of ‘Game of Venues’. We’re looking forward to welcoming new agents, as well as those who’ve experienced the FAM before but are returning to see new member venues Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Furniture Makers Hall, The Postal Museum and Qbic Hotel.”

Kitching adds: “As a collective, it’s our aim to promote the City of London as a prime location in the capital to host meetings, conferences and events. With vast history, heritage and modern architecture within the square mile, the Big City Site Visit is the perfect platform to promote our diverse offering to agency partners, with the hope to drive further business.”

This year’s Big City Site Visit includes visits to Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Trinity House, The HAC, Furniture Makers Hall, CCT Venues Barbican, The Postal Museum, Dorsett City Hotel and Qbic Hotel.”
