Yorkshire-based events agency Your Event Solutions (YES) has reported a 40% per cent growth in turnover over the past 18 months. That figure now stands at £11m.

The agency has created new strategic senior roles as a result of continued growth, which includes a recent £2m figure two-year contract win with a medical equipment manufacturer and a three-year marketing and comms contract with a UK £500m media company.

Among the new recruits is Laura Hodges who is taking up the role of creative director. She will focus on live events, marketing campaigns and incentive travel.

Leanne Roys will direct the YES Switzerland office near Zurich, having previously worked in the global commercial team at Takeda pharmaceuticals and previous to that ran 100 major congresses per year for medical societies.

Meanwhile, Kim Rowling, the former personal assistant to president EMEA & Global Ecommerce and the director Global Ecommerce & Omni-Channel at Jimmy Choo, has been appointed as EA to YES CEO and founder, Sue Gill (pictured).

Further recruitment is also underway to support the growth of a Philadelphia office in July.

Gill says the agency enters its 18th year of business stronger than ever thanks to a company restructure.

“The new additions to the team will underpin our growth on a strategic level as we expand into new market sectors and new countries. Our new business pipeline has doubled year-on-year and we’re forecasting a further 30% growth,” she said.
