Worcestershire creative communications agency drp has announced the appointment of Richard Reed as its new chief finance officer. The role is a new one for drp, and the agency says it has been created to ensure that the correct procedures and precautions are in place to help manage budgets, transactions and processes in a clear and precise way.
Reed, a qualified chartered accountant with 20 years of experience, will oversee all the financial and reporting responsibilities within the business.
Prior to joining drp, Richard was a finance director for two years at international full-service provider PRG XL Video, who specialise in technical expertise and equipment, in the events and entertainment industry. He has also worked in retail, advertising, events and pharmaceuticals, with clients such as GSK, Nestle, Harley Davidson and Heineken.
Reed has also supported several acquisitions.
