Bicester Village corporate rebrand as events top 1,000 for the year

Value Retail has announced the launch of the Bicester Village Shopping Collection (TBVSC), signifying a brand unification of its 11 distinct fashion destination across Europe and China. The naming is recognition of the extraordinary growth and success of the UK’s Bicester Village.

 In 2017 The Collection welcomed almost 40m guests to its villages.

The BVSC has partnered with the world renowned École hôtelière de Lausanne to offer its staff  hospitality training and also employs a specialist  in-house Groups and Events team to create tailor made packages for MICE business.

The BVSC says it now hosts 70,000 business tourism and corporate guests annually and over 1,000 events for groups ranging from 10 to 7,000.

In 2018 TBVSC is the official partner of the EU-China Tourism (part of the European Travel Commission) and will be one of the key leaders in attracting Chinese travellers to Europe. (In 2017, 40% of total non-EU tax-refunded across the Collection of Villages were generated by guests from China.)

The BVSC is also an affiliate member of the United Nation Tourism world Organisation – the first retail brand member.
