Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London will be using International Confex 2018 to launch a new promotion around its new range of teambuilding activities and adrenaline experiences for guests across the Park and its venues.
Peter Tudor, director of visitor services at Queen Elizabeth OIympic Park, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching these exciting new teambuilding activities and experiences. There’s an incredible amount to experience at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and whether your guests want to get the adrenaline pumping, or prefer something a bit more sedate, there’s something for everyone.”
The teambuilding activities available on the site include abseiling down the side of the ArcelorMittal Orbit, the UK’s highest freefall abseil or taking the quickest route down it via The Slide (178m), and also cycling on the velodrome track and the BMX berms at Lee Valley VeloPark.
There are also behind-the-scenes tours available at London Stadium (former Olympic and Paralympic Stadium) and an opportunity to take a hockey masterclass with members of the Gold Medal winning GB’s Women’s Hockey Team, or experience Wheelchair Tennis first hand with coaching from some of the best in the
world at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre.
Many more activities include swimming in the wake of champions at Dame Zaha Hadid’s London Aquatics Centre and enjoying a boat tour on the waterways of the Park.
