Unicorn Events has expanded its team after claiming it has seen ‘significant’ growth in their current client base.
The creative event agency’s top three clients have all placed repeat and additional business allowing managing director and CN30 under Thirty winner Hannah Luffman to appoint new team members.
Matthew Peek joins as senior event manager to look after creative and gala events. Peek joins the agency after seven years at Collection 26 and most recently with Blackman Enterprises.
Luffman said of the appointment: “It isn’t always easy as a small agency to know when the time is right to make a senior event appointment, but we are thrilled to be in a position to do so. Matthew will be a great support to both our clients and to the direction and strategy of our agency.”
Shannon Barrow also joins the agency on a student placement from the University of Greenwich as event coordinator. After being at Greenwich University 10 years ago, Luffman, is a guest lecturer and avid supporter of the development of paid industry based placements for students and graduates.
In October 2016, Elena Clowes joined the agency as event manager from ILEA UK.
