Huddersfield Town Football Club may be living the Premiership dream this season, but the Yorkshire side’s ground, The John Smith’s Stadium, has started the 2018 campaign in some style by celebrating a booming festive season for corporate event bookings.
The stadium events team reports 1,600 turkey dinners served, 3,000 glasses of wine poured, and 1,800 ‘pigs in blankets’ served up over the Christmas period. The event space hosted 2,359 people over seven festive nights, including 13 parties held mainly by local businesses.
The stadium event caterer Kudos also organised a selection of live music acts over the season and food director, David Cavalier, said: “We were delighted to cater for all guests and ensured that our menus were jam-packed full of locally sourced fresh ingredients.”
