Most will associate Bicester Village with shopping, rather than meeting ‘til you drop. However, the outlet destination has moved to offer bespoke programmes for groups and events and the latest addition to its space for hire is The Apartment.
The Apartment, by interior designer Carden Cunietti, is an exclusive new by-appointment-only space and targetted at high-end smaller meeting groups. The space has three lounges that can be used separately for a private meeting or together as one space for a reception.
Each room features working marble fireplaces that sit alongside a combination of wood or antique mirror panelled wall frames and oiled oak herringbone flooring.
Bicester Village, is one of the Collection of 11 Villages in Europe and China by Value Retail, and it can host larger groups for events in outdoor spaces.
Clive Dobble, tourism director at Bicester Shopping Village, tells CN: “Our core business is shopping, however we believe The Apartment will support a variety of guests needs including meetings/events for corporate companies, hosting shopping events, brand meetings, as well as being a relaxing space to look after our Privilege members.
“Bicester Village has three flexible event spaces (seating approximately 20 delegates per room) which can be opened up into one large room with approximately 110 guests standing.”
