Leicestershire-based business and event caterer Wilson Vale has strengthened its operations team with the promotion of 28-year-old Jake Herreros as area manager.

Formerly a chef manager with Wilson Vale at The Beacon School in Amersham, Herreros now takes on responsibility for a portfolio of four clients.

Carolyne Vale, co-founder of Wilson Vale, said: “When Jake joined us initially he accepted the challenge of a chef manager’s position. Although he didn’t have previous managerial experience, his craft skills were superb and he has proved to be an able and outstanding manager.”

Herreros joins an eleven-strong team of Wilson Vale area managers who support a client-base of 95 clients, mainly within the corporate sector, independent schools and conferencing.

Wilson Vale employs 750 people and has a projected annual turnover of £29m for 2017.
