Full service agency drp has been growing exponentially over the past year, with significant expansion in their digital, technical services, communications, and video teams. The latest drpteam head count, across four different UK locations, has reached over 200 people, with the latest figure at 226. The team expansion is directly related to the increase in demand and new business opportunities within drp.
This year, the digital team has expanded by 10 new people, followed by technical services, communications, and video, all with seven new starters each. drp also gained a further 22 employees with the latest acquisition of Penguins, the incentive events agency based in Windsor.
Due to this expansion,in 2016 drp increased their turnover by more than £2m as they acquired 16 new clients, adding an increase on their turnover from £14.5m to £16.6m. By the end of 2017, drp are aiming to reach for a £21m turnover and by 2020 their target is to reach a £30m turnover, especially now that they have Penguins on board, which could increase the figure to £35m.
drp’s CEO Dale Parmenter commented, “I’m delighted to see year on year the growth of the company and the newest acquisition of Penguins being a drp company. We have been a part of some remarkable projects, winning and being shortlisted for numerous awards already this year. We are continuing to move in the right direction and I’m confident to enter 2018 with our expanding customer base. The drpteam is feeling motivated and energised for what’s ahead.”
