Venuefinder.com has upgraded its virtual tour technology to make it easier for organisers to view venue interiors and identify meetings and events spaces.
The free-to-use venue finding website has partnered with Universal360 and is now offering advanced virtual reality tours using Matterport 4K scanning technology.
Each Matterport tour begins with a fly-through opening, before allowing users to navigate themselves around the meetings and event spaces.
Each tour features five linked scenes, a 3D model, interactive floorplans and the ability to share. All tours are mobile device & VR headset compatible.
“We know event organisers are under significant pressure to maximise their own time and budgets and we believe this technology upgrade will help to showcase venues more effectively,” said venuefinder.com group sales manager, Vicki Peerless. “There’s also the option to include additional features within these virtual tours, including Info Hotspots such as downloadable menus, AV options and the like.”
