London West End venue, the Barbican has recruited former Excel London, QEII Centre and PPHE Hotel Group account director Jamie Ades to head its association business.
Ades will be working alongside head of sales, Oliver Hargreaves to deliver on the Barbican’s long-term strategic goals, which include a focus on association events aligned to the venue’s ethos and principles, including the arts and culture.
The Barbican’s head of business events, Jackie Boughton, comments: “We are excited to welcome Jamie to the team and look forward to the impact he will have.
