Tim Banfield has left his post of commercial director at the ACC Liverpool and undertaken a new challenge at Doncaster Racecourse.
Bob Prattey, chief executive of The ACC Liverpool Group told CN: “After 10 years as part of the ACC Liverpool Group, Tim has left the company to take up a new role as executive director at Doncaster Racecourse. He joined us [ACC Liverpool Group] in 2006 and played a key part in the establishment, development and expansion of our company and its facilities – BT Convention Centre, Echo Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool. As commercial director, he was a committed member of our senior management team.
“Tim’s new position is an excellent opportunity which has come at the right time in his career and we wish him well.
“We are currently underway with the recruitment process to find Tim’s successor.”
At the time of writing, CN is awaiting a statement from Doncaster Racecourse.
