Anita Lowe’s fast-growing Wiltshire-based Venues and Events International agency has appointed Matilda Burgess (pictured) as conference planning executive. She will work across a portfolio of new and established clients, including car dealership The Synter Group and IT training provider QA Ltd. She will report into the agency’s conference manager, Laura Law.
“I’m delighted to have joined such a busy, thriving agency as I’ve had to really hit the ground running,” Burgess says. “It’s an exciting time to be working in this industry and I’m looking forward to playing my part.”
Venues and Events International has also contracted Gemma Texeira to assist with event delivery. She will be supporting the agency’s events team in a freelance project manager capacity.
The continued expansion is part of the agency’s ambitions to grow its annual turnover to £20m and its supporting team to 35 over the next three years.
