Becky Graveney, head of associations at London & Partners, will leave the company on 7 September after nine and a half years.

In an email to CN, Graveney said that she would be embracing a ‘lifestyle change,’ adding: “My plan is to have a bit of time off and then look for a part-time or project-based role. It’s been a pleasure and privilege to promote London.”

Commenting on Graveney’s departure, Gordon Innes, CEO at London & Partners said: “London’s growing reputation as a world-class city for meetings, associations and events is thanks in large part to the work of Becky and her team over the last few years.

“Becky has been instrumental in securing some of the most high-profile congresses in the industry, such as the European Society of Cardiology and the European Respiratory Society congresses, and I’m proud that together we have now secured London’s place in the top five of the ICCA rankings. I would like to thank Becky for her work over the last nine and a half years and wish her well for the future.”

Before her notice is completed, Graveney will deliver the European Respiratory Society’s free lung check in Trafalgar Square and other London boroughs including Waltham Forest, Canary Wharf, Camden, Lewisham, and Islington.

London & Partners is expected to announce Graveney’s replacement next week.
