Aberdeen ambassadors responsible for bringing conferences to the city and Aberdeenshire were recognised (11 May) at an award ceremony in Aberdeen’s Chester Hotel.
Twenty individuals received awards for their efforts in working through their associations to successfully bid for and host 18 conferences in Aberdeen City and Shire over the past year. A special recognition award was also given to Professor John Watson of the University of Aberdeen.
