Why did you choose Bucks New University to study BA Music and Live Events Management?
The course is unique as the lecturers are still actively engaged and working within the music industry.
What modules have you enjoyed the most so far on your course? And what modules are you excited about studying this year?
We ran a night called ‘Warehouse’ in the first year.
Is there an events management company that inspires you?
No. From what I have experienced it’s individual people that are worth being inspired by – there’s amazing characters working in the music industry!
What are your career aspirations? Which company would you most like to work for when you graduate?
Ultimately, I want to kind of be like Melvin Benn of Festival Republic.
Have you been to any events in particular that have influenced your degree choice?
No, it has never been about one event in particular for me. It’s been about the entire industry.
What has been your most memorable moment while studying for your degree?
Marketing for ‘Warehouse’.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
I’d hope to be in either venue management or somewhere high up in festival management.
