Butlin’s announced its best year’s sales ever within the MICE sector, 19 November, reporting a third consecutive year of double-digit growth.
The leisure company’s meetings and events division has grown by 97% in the three years it has re-entered the market.
The conference and events growth reflects recent investment into resort facilities and expansion of the corporate offering. Venue spaces for hire include, conference rooms, hotels, restaurants and amusements for corporate occasions.
Simon Jones, national sales manager at Butlin’s conference & events, said: “We are delighted with the continued success of our conference and events division; this growth proves that we are challenging perceptions within the industry, which no longer sees Butlin’s as exclusively a family destination.”
