Kerrin MacPhie, current Chair of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) UK and Ireland, and Deputy Chair Lesley Williams, have been re-elected to the Board.

Having already the UK Chapter of the association for two years, MacPhie, who is also Director of Sales at ACC Liverpool, will serve another two-year term alongside Williams, Head of Business Tourism at Marketing Edinburgh. Both candidates were the only two nominees for the posts and therefore elected unopposed.

MacPhie said: “I’m extremely honoured to have been re-elected to the role of Chairperson for ICCA UK and Ireland. This is an exciting time for the association as we continue to develop the Chapter in terms of members, benefits and education.”

ICCA UK and Ireland recently announced it will host its first Annual Debate in Brighton next year. The two-day event, 24-25 March 2015, includes an evening reception and dinner and will be the key meeting in the association’s calendar, replacing its previous winter and summer debates.
